Genuine spares for middle east oil company
A Dutch manufacturer build for years a gas turbine driven pumping station for crude oil in operation by the national oil company of a Middle East country.
As the oil companies policy favored manufacturer supplied spare parts, regular enquiries for spares were received. Since requirement and ordering procedures and budgeting were highly in-transparent a major effort was made to visit all parties and levels involved and overcome any inconveniences as possible.
A series of long blocked purchase orders could be successfully delivered as a result of these interventions on site. Bringing considerable business back to this manufacturer.
Regrettably shortly after geo-political developments forced the manufacturer to withdraw from further orders already in-house and in the pipeline.
